Replacement of Nationality Certificate

Requirement

Transfer of Certificate from Parents

• Declaration requesting the issuance  of a separate certificate
• Parents original BNC showing name of transfer to new certificate and a copy
• Copy of valid Identification with signature
• Photos (must be 2x2, no sleeveless, white background, must be take within the last 6 months, full face view directly facing the camera)
• A fee of $100 Bz 
• Birth Certificate and translation for parents (who's BNC is outdated with no date of Birth)

Regular replacement (Outdated/Damage)

• Original BNC
• Copy of Certificate or Certificate Number
• Copy of ID with signature
• Birth Certificate and translation for parents (who's BNC is outdated with no date of Birth)
  
• Photos (must be 2x2, no sleeveless, white background, must be take within the last 6 months, full face view directly facing the camera)
• A fee of $100 Bz 

Lost Certificate

• Police report
• Copy of Certificate (if valid) or must provide certificate number
• Declaration for requesting replacement and also stating how it was lost
• $1.50 stamp for declaration form
• Copy of ID with signature
• Birth Certificate and translation for parents (who's BNC is outdated with no date of Birth)
  
• Photos (must be 2x2, no sleeveless, white background, must be take within the last 6 months, full face view directly facing the camera)
• A fee of $100 Bz 

Note

Declaration and copy of identification must be certificates must be certified by a Justice of the Peace, Notary Public or Consultant)

Process takes 6 to 8 weeks
