The Hon. John Briceño

Juan Antonio Briceño, affectionately known as Johnny Briceño (born July 17, 1960), is the fifth Belizean politician to serve as the Prime Minister of Belize. He served as leader of the People’s United Party (PUP) and the Leader of the Opposition, from 2008 to 2011. Previously, he was Deputy Prime Minister from 1998 to 2007. On February 8, 2016, Briceño again became Leader of the Opposition in Belize.

Local Government
Belize has two levels of government: a state government and a single-tier local government. Over the last five years, local councils have been formally established and the trend has been towards greater decentralization and autonomy.

Nationality by Decent Adults 18 years and older (N1)

The following must be accompanied with the application:

Original Birth Certificate of parents
Original Birth Certificate, Passport or other document establishing Belizean Nationality of the parent/grandparent/husband through whom the claim is being made.
Original Marriage Certificate where applicable
Declaration overleaf affirming the relationship and witnessed by a Justice of the Peace along with a $1.50 stamp.
Three (3) photos

Nationality by Decent Minor under 18 years old (N3)

Original Birth Certificate of parents
Original Birth Certificate, Passport or other document establishing Belizean Nationality of the parent/grandparent/husband through whom the claim is being made.
Original Marriage Certificate where applicable
Declaration overleaf affirming the relationship and witnessed by a Justice of the Peace along with a $1.50 stamp.
Three (3) photos
Renunciation of present Nationality

Nationality through Decent - Guatemalan Adult 18 years and older (N2)

Original Birth Certificate of parents
